House Rules

• Parties and events are not allowed.

• Smoking is not permitted indoors; smoking is only allowed outside in the garden.

• Please respect the neighbors: no loud music and quiet time starts at 10:00 PM.

• Charging electric cars is not possible at Het Bosgeluk due to the limited capacity of the power grid.

• Please treat Het Bosgeluk as if it were your own home. Close windows and doors properly when you leave.

• Any damage or broken items? Please inform us immediately so we can find a solution or arrange a replacement together.

• Do not leave food scraps or bread in the garden. This helps prevent pests and is safer for dogs of other guests.

• Please read and follow the hot tub instructions in the welcome folder.

• Never heat the hot tub without water inside. This causes damage.

• Do not sit on the garden cushions or indoor furniture with wet swimwear. Please use the garden chairs without cushions for this.

• Possession of drugs or engaging in erotic activities is not permitted on the park premises.

Would you kindly take off your shoes indoors? This is very much appreciated!

Booking Terms

• Use of the hot tub is only permitted according to the instructions in the welcome folder and in the garden:

  • Fill the hot tub with water up to the marked wave line.

  • Turn on the hot tub with the switch inside the wooden box.

  • Then switch on the heater via the grey cabinet.

  • The manual must always be followed for safe use.

  • It is not allowed to use the stove of the hot tub when there is no water inside.

  • When the hot tub is switched on, someone must always be nearby.

Het Bosgeluk is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by neighbors, other guests, pruning work, or construction activities in the area.
Het Bosgeluk is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
Use of the chalet and facilities is at your own risk. Het Bosgeluk is not liable for injury or accidents during your stay.
The owner may enter the house if necessary, even during your stay.
Small accidents, such as a broken glass, are no problem. In case of major damage (fire, furniture damage, loss of keys, damage to the hot tub, or extreme pollution), you are liable. This is usually covered by your personal liability insurance.
In case of violation of the house rules, the owner has the right to ask guests to leave the house without a refund of the rental fee.
In case of a double booking due to a technical issue, the most recent booking will be canceled. The booker will be informed as soon as possible and will receive a full refund.

Cancellation

Cancellation can be made by email via hetbosgeluk@gmail.com. In case of last-minute cancellations, I will gladly try to reschedule your booking or find another guest. If this is not possible, the following cancellation fees apply:

By booking a stay at Het Bosgeluk, you agree to the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival:
You will receive a full refund.

Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before arrival:
50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

Cancellation within 7 days before arrival:
No refund is possible.

Are you facing an unexpected situation? Please feel free to contact me so we can look for a suitable solution together.

I recommend taking out cancellation insurance (for example with FBTO) to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, loss of employment, or other reasons that may prevent your stay.

Should Het Bosgeluk, in exceptional circumstances, be forced to cancel your booking, the full amount will of course be refunded.
